Best meditation technique for Emotional freedom healing ?

Best meditation technique for Emotional freedom healing ?

Posted 28 November 2010 | By Abe | Categories: Question | 2 Comments

mountaineering meditation

mountaineering meditation

Balaji R asks:

Best meditation technique for Emotional freedom healing ?

My dear Belaji:

Simple answer, hard to practice. Your answer is simple but practice may require a bit of effort. In my opinion you are looking for intense introspection to find who you are, what you really want and what is bothering you. For that loneliness is required, a type of insulation that is hard to obtain. A visualization that everyone who bothers your is drowning in the see and that you are alone in the desert, for a few days may help.

Try real loneliness. In order to enhance introspection you may go to the desert with friends, or perhaps family. You may also consider going out in real deserted places to experience that. Hiking, mountaineering are great activities for that.

3 Risks for the Poker Player

3 Risks for the Poker Player

Posted 16 September 2010 | By admin | Categories: Comic Strip | 2 Comments

This post is based on the a part of the 3rd chapter of the book: The Steinsaltz Talmud Bavli: Tractate Sanhedrin, Large (Hebrew Edition)

Risk number One:

Winning on poker will attract bad luck on other areas.
On poker no creative energy is being exchanged.
On any commercial transaction there is an exchange of money for a form of creative energy.
In poker the loser is receiving nothing but humiliation.
Poker, like any sport, is about the stronger taking advantage of the weaker.
The law of return is also a factor.
Even if it is a fair game, without any cheating, this relationship is understood in a way as stealing.
So this may cause on the long run to have your money taken away, even a larger amount, for no compensation, such as fines, interest, money lost, wrong billing. I am sure you know several techniques that happen to take money away from us, against our will.

Risk number Two

Even if you win, it will take your further away from your real goal.
Money Has No intrinsic value.
Money cannot be eaten, and most cases obey higher causes, such as our bills, health, and needs.
A key rule on creative visualization is focusing on the end result.
If you really want to make money, is because you know you lack something but you don’t know what it is.
Ask yourself what you are really missing, and once you find out, focus on it.
Money is one of the many, many ways of obtaining what want.
Winning in poker may provide some money, and even some respect, yet I guarantee it will not solve your problem.
Introspection, questioning, and right, consistent, clear focus, will solve your problem, and make you a far happier person.

Risk Number Three

You will lose friends, and even gain some enemies.
A person cannot live without friends.
It is virtually impossible to live without friends, and even more, the more friends, the easier life is.
Poker environment stimulates, the live alone, don’t trust anyone behaviour.
This means that using meditation to go into such environment, will force us to go into an aggressive, non healthy social way of being, against our good nature, leading us to be unhappy or alone.

How Much Astrological Influence Affects my Creative Visualization?

How Much Astrological Influence Affects my Creative Visualization?

Posted 06 February 2010 | By admin | Categories: Basics | No Comments

The answer is  A LOT.

Let’s start with basics. The Moon. Is well know that the moon affects human behaviour. I even heard a story about the Police Department of Chicago, increasing their forces on Full Moon. Statistically there are more “calls” on this date. So for sure stars and planets affects human behavior. It is also know that the sea tides change on full moon and since our body is 80% water I don’t see why wouldn’t we believe we are not affected as well.

There is a belief that is good to start new projects on new moon, yet, this is very vague.

And the exact science of astrology is either lost, or in secret. Most that is out is either not completely accurate, as a result of pure observation, or some times, completely false.

On thing is guaranteed. Consistency overcomes all influences.

BOTTOM LINE: It is true that dates may affect, but if you focus on consistency, nothing will stay on your way.

How Much Creative Visualization Should I Practice?

How Much Creative Visualization Should I Practice?

Posted 05 February 2010 | By admin | Categories: Basics | No Comments

One thing is for sure it should be daily.

You also have MOMENTS you feel your thoughts are more positive, or more effective, nothing you can really control BUT some can identify. Some feel like they have self esteem, some remember their parents giving parents, some don’t feel at all, despite the fact the feeling is there.

Either way it has a few steady variables:

  • Practice Every Day – No Exception
  • Don’t Change your Goals

15 minutes a day should not hurt anyone, but nevertheless don’t forget to read our disclaimer.

I do know for a fact that are astrological influences that will affect the influence of your visualization,  having specific dates, and even hours for specific thoughts. But the bread and butter is to focus on one goal, every day, during the mornings. The closer to sunrise, the better.

A Positive Thinking Story with Donald Trump

A Positive Thinking Story with Donald Trump

Posted 04 February 2010 | By admin | Categories: Basics | No Comments

The resources are unlimited, what is limited is our perception
I have a great Donald Trump story to illustrate that, it is told on the Art of the Deal best seller. I don’t hold mr. Trump as an example for almost nothing, but the story is a good example on how from the INSIDE we can rule the OUTSIDE.

Once on finishing one of his towers, the head of sales came in panic, into his office, telling her boss that competition announced their prices and they were far more lower than theirs.

Now. An inexperienced entrepreneur could do one of the following:

  • Lower prices even more.
  • Pressure the competition to raise their prices a bit.

mr. Trumps reaction was:
-Great! they just declared that their tower is inferior to ours.

It is not only the talent of thinking positive, is also a spirit that allows to be spontaneous, that spirit is only given for those who try to develop.

The Tower was completely sold out.

Why it is Important to Relax?

Why it is Important to Relax?

Posted 03 February 2010 | By admin | Categories: Basics, Techniques | 1 Comment

We do know of the 5 senses:

  1. Touch
  2. Sight
  3. Hearing
  4. Taste
  5. Smell

My question is, if most of us, do not really know how these senses really work, what guarantees that there are not additional senses out there? A 6th or 7th Sense? Well. To start all we can do is to RELAX. By relaxing we let go the sensing of these 5 to start looking for different senses inside of us.

Once this sense is identified – EVERYONE HAS TO HAVE, it can be used for guidance.

A classical situation, is when someone, speaks, thinks evil of us on our presence and even if we did not hear, we feel.

Using Biographies to Evoke Specific Personalities

Using Biographies to Evoke Specific Personalities

Posted 01 February 2010 | By admin | Categories: Techniques | No Comments

Choose your Master. If there is any particular master or teacher or hero with whom you resonate, call upon him or her through invocation whenever you feel the need to manifest his or her special qualities within yourself. This type of mediation works beautifully when there is a speciall skill or talent that you wish to cultivate.

So vast, I don’t even know from where to start.

Books. First written by, is more powerful, but written about, may also work. Read the book, BEFORE incubating any questions.

How to read. It is true that though has power, but the questioning itself should be said out loud or written. There are some people that will write the question on a piece of paper and then cut the book randomly and try to see if the  answer is on the page. I don’t do it, I don’t recommend, but the technique is being widespread used on specific “streams”. I know someone who invested part on an inheritance trading FOREX basing her buy/sell decisions on this method. Did not last a month.

Daily Practice. This is the best and most efficient. Read systematically the book written by the person, a chapter a page a day. affects. big time. recommended. Choose the personality carefully though.

Invocations

Invocations

Posted 31 January 2010 | By admin | Categories: Techniques | No Comments

Definition. Invocation is such a wide subject, I could easily create a blog  just for that. For the meanwhile I am going to stick to the book, and then perhaps develop a bit.

To invoke means to “CALL IN” or “CALL UPON”, when used in meditation, invocation is a technique with which you can summon any type of energy quality come to you.  It could be just love, or beauty.

Close your eyes and relax deeply. Do some type of preparatory meditation such as grounding and running energy, or opening the energy centers, or symply going to your sanctuary, relaxing and breathing deeply for a while.

When you feel relaxed and energized, say to yourself I call upon the quality of LOVE and then, feel the “energy” of  love coming to  you.

Very poetic, Shakti. Very abstract too, it could all be imagination, after all we want to call upon something external.

You can use the power of invocation to summon any quality or energy you want or need.

  • Strenght
  • Wisdom
  • Serenity
  • Compassion
  • Creativity

I posted this to base myself on the book, it is far from practical, yet it will be useful as we go further on….

Don't Like Your Job? Try This Technique

Don't Like Your Job? Try This Technique

Posted 02 November 2009 | By Avraham | Categories: Basics | No Comments

Frustrated at Work. Let’s say for example, that you are feeling unsatisfied with your current job situation. If you feel that the job is basically right for you, but there are factors that need improvement, you could begin my imagining the improvement you desire. If that does not work, then focus on imagining yourself on in the employment situation you desire.

Basic Technique. Either way the technique is basically the same. After relaxing into a deep, quiet, meditative state of mind, imagine that you are working in your ideal job situation. Imagine yourself in the physical setting or environment that you would like, doing work that you enjoy and find satisfying, interacting with people in a harmonious way, receiving the appropriate financial compensations.

Consistency. By repeating this exercise often, perhaps twice a day, if your desire and intentions to make a change are clear, chances are good that a shift will come, from the outside.

Measuring Effectiveness. Like if you think or concentrate on popcorn/stake and you are able to salivate, or thinking of some one you like then feeling his/her presence. The emulation of the event is a true sign that you are actually communicating to the universe that this is where you wish to be guided to, attracted to.

Hours and Accessories. MP3 Players, loaded with proper music, instrumental preferably, are great tools for that, since they make easier to disconnect from the outside world. Another great technique is either during the mornings or before going to sleep. Kabalistic the precise sun rise is the best time for that.
